Paul Civili began his tenure with Santa’s Helpers in 1970, serving terms as Vice President and Treasurer of the Board, as well as offering his services as a volunteer Santa for Hope House. He also has been the Director of Volunteers, and has managed the Santa’s Helpers warehouse for a number of years.
Paul is married (40 years in September) with four children and four grandchildren. I have a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from UMSL, and a Master’s degree in Management from Webster University. He has worked as a high school and grade school teacher, and served 35 years active duty in the Army, as a DOD civilian and as a contracting officer, negotiating contracts for helicopters and related items; a procurement policy analyst specializing in Best Value contracting, Total Quality Management and process improvement; a systems analyst evaluating and maintaining the Army’s contract writing system. I was also the lead instructor for my command’s Process Management for Leaders course.
Paul’s additional volunteer work includes 15 years of coaching indoor and outdoor soccer and basketball for at the YMCA, and was named South County YMCA volunteer of the year in 1993.
